Lived-In Utility

How to wash raw, heavy-gauge fibers.

Unlike delicate, synthetic mass-market covers, our unrefined linen, wild silk, and organic wool are built to be lived in, washed, and loved. They soften with every cycle, gaining beautiful character over time.

Wild Silk

Wash on a gentle cycle with cool water and mild soap. Tumble dry on low heat or line dry to preserve the natural, heavy-gauge grain. No ironing is ever required.

Hand wash cold with a dedicated wool detergent. Lay flat on a clean, dry towel away from direct sunlight to maintain the block's original heirloom weight and shape.

Dry clean or hand wash cold with delicate silk soap. Avoid twisting or wringing the fabric; press gently between dry towels and dry flat in the shade.
